July 27, 2017 – Reno – ESAs in SFRs (and Apartments) – Emotional Support Animals

This is a brand new course, delving deeply into the ins and outs of the property manager’s role in addressing tenant requests for “Emotional Support Animals” (ESAs) in residential rental units.

The course is approved for 3 HOURS CE credit in Property Management (or General) CE.5864000-RE.

In this 3-hour class, we’ll explore:

  • The differences between ESAs and “pets”
  • How ADA and the Federal Fair Housing Act address these animals
  • The kind of training required for someone’s animal to be considered an ESA (spoiler: NONE)
  • Verifying a renter’s need for an ESA
  • And much, much more!

The very first offering of this class will be held at the Ticor Title Company business office (Kietzke Lane, Reno) on July 27th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Register early, as space is quite limited in that location. Here’s a flyer with details.
